What You can Do to Help

The successful and sustainable growth of BPB is totally dependent on our 200 volunteers, our numerous partnering organizations, the support of the school systems and the very generous support of the community at large. With no staff or operational overhead, every dollar raised goes directly to our mission of eliminating chronic childhood hunger.

Donations

Our ability to serve the chronically hungry school children in Bluffton and Hardeeville is dependent on our community—both for volunteers and for fiscal sustainability. Monthly Food Boxes now cost $375 a year for one family. Weekly Bags of food are $285 per year per child. And Boxes of Produce cost $270 a year per family. We now pick up the food for the boxes from Food Lion on the 3rd Tuesday of the month and pack and deliver on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

With 700 children currently in the program, we need a lot of volunteers!
